Can I renew my IRMI certifications by attending CRC Virtual?
Yes, attending five sessions or more at CRC Virtual will satisfy
the annual continuing education requirement to maintain your Construction Risk
and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) certification and
any other IRMI certification you may hold (AFIS, ERIS, MLIS, or TRIP).
Will I receive continuing education (CE) credits for attending CRC
Virtual?
No, state insurance CE credits or other professional continuing
education credits are not available. IRMI will provide a certificate of
attendance upon request that can be used to request the appropriate credit from
your licensing organization.
Who should attend the Construction Risk Conference (CRC)?
Anyone who must understand, mitigate, or insure the complex risks
in the construction industry, including construction company or project owners,
risk managers, CFOs, controllers, treasurers, insurance buyers, agents and
brokers, underwriters and adjusters, attorneys, consultants, and service
providers.
Is the IRMI Boot Camp offered as part of the Virtual CRC?
No. The reduced time frame of the Conference would make it nearly
impossible to maintain the quality of the Boot Camp learning experience and
would not provide the same ability to develop relationships with our attendees
and facilitators. Please plan to attend the Boot Camp in person next year.
Is there an opportunity for risk managers to have a group discussion
as in past years?
The Interactive Risk Managers Forum is not part of the Virtual
CRC, but if there is enough interest, we will arrange for these to take place
in small virtual groups after the Conference.
Will I be able to access CRC Virtual sessions after the Conference?
Yes, sessions will be recorded and available to attendees on
demand for 6 months following the Conference.
What is the process if I qualify for a contractor/project owner
discount?
All discounts are subject to verification. Please allow 2–5
business days to process your registration. When you submit your registration,
you will receive an email stating that your registration is not yet confirmed.
Once your registration has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation
email.
