Kirk Kelley is responsible for directing the development and implementation of policies, systems, strategies, and procedures that facilitate the effective analysis, reporting, decision-making, and overall administration of the corporate credit and insurance functions across TVA. Additionally, he is responsible for the negotiation and placement of TVA’s nuclear, conventional property, casualty, and builders risk insurance programs and TVA’s Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).

Mr. Kelley joined TVA in 1990 as the program administrator for the Special Opportunities Counties program, an economic development loan fund, and has professionally advanced in various positions throughout the agency. Prior to joining TVA, he held positions with First National Bank of Houma, Louisiana (now known as the Hancock/Whitney National Bank), and American Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana (now known as JP Morgan Chase Bank).

Mr. Kelley is a member of the Evolving Utility Industry Risk Task Force of Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Limited (AEGIS) and former vice chairman of North America Power Credit Organization (NAPCO).
