Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)

Definition

An insurance institute whose purpose is to establish and recognize professional standards for insurance practitioners in more than 100 countries. It confers the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and the Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) designations. This organization was established in 1873 in Manchester, England.
