Tim Prosser, CPCU, RPLU

Tim Prosser is a senior consultant in RT's environmental and construction professional (ECP) practice and acquired a deep understanding of professional and pollution liability principles during his 7 years underwriting architects and engineers professional liability insurance for RLI Insurance Company. Since joining the RT ECP team, he has applied that knowledge to a broad range of firms and service providers in the construction industry.

As a senior consultant in the practice, Mr. Prosser assists retail agents and broker clients by identifying exposures faced in their area of practice and negotiating optimal insurance solutions designed to transfer risk. His extensive professional liability background gives him an advantage when evaluating specialized coverages found in combined contractor pollution and professional liability policies such as rectification expense and protective indemnity.

Mr. Prosser has authored several articles for industry publications on a variety of risk management and insurance topics pertaining to contractors and other related firms, with a focus on modular and prefab builders.

He has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) certifications and is currently working toward his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS^®) certification. Mr. Prosser is a graduate of Ursinus College, where he earned a bachelor of science in political science.
