Thomas M. Sheffield, JD

Mr. Sheffield is an partner in the Chicago office of Boundas, Skarzynski, Walsh & Black, LLC. In addition to accountant liability matters, Mr. Sheffield concentrates his practice on directors and officers and professional liability insurance coverage work. He specializes in cases involving securities class actions and, in addition to his other work, has developed numerous analytical tools to assist in understanding securities class action damages and various legal theories that surround them. Additionally, Mr. Sheffield has conducted extensive research on mutual funds, annuities, and other types of investment and finance vehicles as well as the liability and coverage issues involved.

Mr. Sheffield is a licensed Solicitor in England and Wales and is a member of the Law Society. He is licensed in the United States in Florida and the state and federal courts in Illinois. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1994 and from the DePaul University College of Law in 1999.
