Mr. Anderson, who contributed articles on agency technology for IRMI.com, has been a licensed independent agent for over 25 years and is editor of The Automated Agency Report, a monthly newsletter dedicated to providing independent agents with the insurance technology information they need to more effectively manage and grow their agencies. He is also president of The Anderson Network, Inc., which was formed to provide practical consulting services to the insurance industry on how to maximize profits using common sense technology.

Mr. Anderson received his bachelor of arts degree with a double major in business administration and economics from Taylor University and a master's degree in Insurance Law from Antioch School of Law. He began his insurance career as a commercial underwriter for a major insurance company. Mr. Anderson received post-graduate training in computers, sales training, and the practical application of direct response marketing principles.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the editorial staff of Rough Notes Magazine, where his column, Agency Marketing Technology, appears bimonthly. He is a contributing editor for Independent Agent magazine and is responsible for the monthly CyberNews column, and is editor of the monthly ACORD Advantage eNews. He also is dean of the Technology Department for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America Virtual University and a member of the national faculty for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

Because he fine-tunes his ideas in the real world with which agents are faced, Mr. Anderson is one of the industry's top technology consultants and speakers. He provides keynote addresses, lectures, seminars, workshops, conference programs, and individual agency and company consultations on how to maximize profits using common sense technology.
