Robert Nusslein is the head of Innovative Risk Solutions at Swiss Re Capital Solutions in New York. He has over 20 years of experience at Swiss Re and over 30 years of experience in insurance and the alternative risk transfer market. In September 2019, Mr. Nusslein participated in a webinar organized and sponsored by Strategic Risk Solutions, Inc. (SRS). Following that webinar, CICR contacted Mr. Nusslein to elicit his responses to several questions. His responses provide many insights, demonstrating the leadership of Swiss Re and his leadership in addressing the financing of natural catastrophe risk exposures. Swiss Re has launched a new parametric risk financing solution, NAT CAT.
