Paul B. Nielander, JD

Mr. Nielander is a principal consultant with Malecki Deimling Nielander and Associates LLC, where he provides risk management, expert witness, and other consulting services. He has been a consulting expert in litigation involving insurance for computers and electronic information. Additionally, he has made numerous presentations and written articles on underwriting automation systems. Mr. Nielander has held positions of underwriting and executive management at some of the largest insurers, including Safeco, Chubb Group, Netherlands Insurance, Kemper Insurance, and Phico Insurance. At Kemper and Phico, a major part of his responsibilities was to develop breakthrough new internet-based products and artificially intelligent underwriting systems.
