Paul Moxon

Paul Moxon writes on technology issues for Expert Commentary. As the senior vice president of data architecture and chief evangelist at Denodo, he works with customers to help them understand the benefits of logical data architecture and advises them on how the Denodo Platform fits into their broader information strategy. Mr. Moxon has over 30 years of experience with enterprise middleware technologies and has acted as an architect and consultant on large integration projects with companies such as Saudi Aramco, AT&T Wireless, Bechtel, and Reuters.

Mr. Moxon's experience stretches from designing and building real-time pipeline control systems in the Netherlands to creating a data model for corporate financial events for a news agency in London. More recently, he has been working with generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools and models and has been instrumental in the development and rollout of Denodo's capabilities and tools for AI-driven data management.

As a true believer in futile causes, Mr. Moxon is a lifelong fan of the Everton football club and looks forward to each season with renewed optimism, knowing that it will be crushed by reality within a couple of months. He currently resides in New York and takes great pleasure in being a Boston Red Sox fan who lives and works in the heart of the "evil empire."

Mr. Moxon has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northumbria University in the United Kingdom.
