Mike McCracken writes on personal

With over 25 years' experience in underwriting, underwriting management,
and policy analysis, Mr. McCracken specializes in personal lines coverage. He
is currently self-employed as an insurance consultant and freelance writer. He
consults on matters of policy language, claim settlement, and underwriting
procedures. He has served as an expert witness in these areas.
Although Mr. McCracken still consults on insurance claim issues, he has
entered a "second career." He now teaches speech and English at
several proprietary career colleges in Ohio and Kentucky.
Mr. McCracken holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from Catawba
College (Salisbury, NC) and a master's degree in Communication from
Marshall University (Huntington, WV).
He lives in the Cincinnati suburbs with Pat, his wife of more than 30 years.
They have two adult children: Adam and Emily.
