Mr. Monteleone represents a number of D&O liability insurers in complex securities fraud litigation and has worked effectively with plaintiff and defense interests in resolving many of these complex disputes. He provides legal consulting services to D&O, errors and omissions, and professional liability lines insurers, including drafting insurance forms and endorsements and serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and expert witness. A frequent speaker and author, he has written over 10 articles for The Risk Report over the years, including, most recently, the following.

Mr. Monteleone is a partner in the Bedminster, New Jersey, office of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby, LLP. He has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance arena and is a frequent writer and speaker on various topics related to insurance coverage and D&O liability. He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York, where his practice focuses on representing insurance companies in the specialty areas of D&O and other professional liability coverage. In addition to representing clients in litigation and arbitration, a large part of his practice involves policy and endorsement drafting, coverage advice, and serving as a party-appointed arbitrator, certified by ARIAS-US, and as an expert witness. He is also a certified mediator.

Mr. Monteleone writes and lectures frequently on topics relating to liability and insurance issues for directors and officers and other professionals. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Tort and Insurance Practice Section and Section on Business Law) Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, National Association of Corporate Directors, International Bar Association, American Corporate Counsel Association, and Professional Liability Underwriting Society. Mr. Monteleone obtained a master of arts degree from Hunter College, and his bachelor's degree from St. John's University.
