Casey Roberts writes about

Mr. Roberts has 39 years of experience in the world of insurance sales and
education. He formed Laurus Insurance Consulting in 2010 after spending his
prior years as a personal lines producer, personal lines department manager,
commercial sales producer, and commercial lines sales manager. The main goal of
his insurance consulting practice is to assist insurance professionals in their
pursuit of sales success.
He has been teaching his fellow agents and brokers (as well as anyone else
who will listen) for at least 20 years. He speaks nationally on topics as
varied as agents/brokers errors and omissions, workers compensation, agency
management, risk management, agency operations, farm property and liability
topics, and multiple other commercial and personal lines issues. Mr. Roberts
provides expert witness services for both insurance coverage issues and
“standard of care” issues for the agency and brokerage communities.
Mr. Roberts has served as a director for the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance
Specialist (AFIS) designation and IBA West’s, which is now the Independent
Insurance Agents & Brokers of California (IIABCal), Agribusiness Committee.
He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and
Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) credentials.
