Auto Insurance Proof of Coverage and State Law Updates in Commercial Auto Insurance

This release of Commercial Auto Insurance includes the following updates.

  • For the month of October 2019, auto ID card information requirements were revised for Delaware, Florida, Illinois, and Oregon. Regulatory agency contact information has been revised for Arkansas, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
  • State-specific no-fault laws for Michigan and New Jersey were updated.
  • Michigan's no-fault laws were amended by S.B.1, substantially altering the Insurance Code of 1956, including optional limits for no-fault coverage, effective July 1, 2020.
  • State endorsements have been modified for Montana and New Hampshire. Montana modified its concealment, misrepresentation, or fraud statute affecting IL 01 80 09 07; New Hampshire modified the descriptions of "auto" and "mobile equipment" affecting CA 01 11 11 17.
  • Arizona and Missouri financial responsibility laws increased the minimum financial limits, effective July 1, 2020. In Arizona, the minimum limits increased from 15/20/10 to 25/50/15. In Missouri, the financial responsibility minimum increased only for property to $25,000 or 25/50/25 or combined single limit of $75,000.
