Dallas, TX—Insurance and risk
management professionals can now register for the 2022 IRMI Emmett J Vaughan Agribusiness Conference
(AgriCon) hosted by International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI).
The Conference will be held March 7–8, 2022, and will be presented
as a hybrid event, giving attendees the option to attend in person or
online. The in-person Conference will take place in Sacramento, California,
and selected sessions will be streamed for virtual attendees. Both options
will offer attendees the opportunity to learn and network and access
on-demand session recordings for up to 6 months following the
Conference.
“The beauty of a hybrid event is
being able to offer all our attendees the chance to foster professional
relationships in an educational setting while also providing an increased
level of flexibility based on their individual needs,” said Jack Gibson, IRMI
president and CEO.
Attendees will have access to 2
days of sessions focused exclusively on the unique risk management challenges
faced by agribusinesses and farms and the nuances of properly insuring those
exposures. Topics covered include crop insurance, wildfire coverage
issues, carbon farming, cannabis risk management, and more. Back by popular
demand, attendees will be eligible to earn up to 11 hours of insurance
continuing education credit whether they attend IRMI AgriCon in person or
online.
