IRMI NAMED ONE OF THE TOP PLACES TO WORK IN DALLAS
Release Date:
Nov 18, 2016
Dallas, Texas—International Risk Management Institute
(IRMI) received the honor of being named one of the Top
100 Places to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth by the Dallas Morning
News.
Recipients of this award are determined based on an annual WorkplaceDynamics
survey completed by hundreds of organizations across Dallas-Fort Worth.
Employees respond anonymously to statements regarding their employer’s
alignment, connection, effectiveness, leadership, and workplace basics, such as
training and benefits. The employers are broken into size bands, and the
highest-scoring organizations in each are selected as the top workplaces in
Dallas-Fort Worth.
According to the
Dallas Morning News, WorkplaceDynamics analyzed answers
from over 90,000 employees at more than 300 Dallas-Fort Worth companies for the
2016 selections.
Dallas Morning News business columnist Cheryl Hall said in her
article about selecting the top 100 that all employees share similar
desires for their workplace. “Employees want to follow respectful leaders with
vision and high moral compasses. They want to work in a fun and nurturing
environment where back-stabbing isn't permitted and promotions are based on
merit. They want to enjoy life away from work. They expect clued-in leadership
and leadership that clues them in. Pay and benefits are consistently at the
bottom of their priority lists.”
In completing the survey, some IRMI employees shared what they like most
about working for the company.
“I work with terrific people.”
“We are allowed to see our visions come to life, and I enjoy working for
such a classy and professional organization.”
IRMI President and CEO Jack Gibson shared what it means to him to receive
this honor. “I am proud and humbled by the recognition. We have worked hard to
build a great culture with engaged employees who focus on providing the best
products and services to our customers. This honor validates that we are
succeeding with this goal and is certainly an underlying reason for the 11-year
average tenure of our employees.”
