General supervision is one of the two loss exposures for which the insured has coverage under an owners and contractors protective (OCP) liability policy.

Additional Information

The other exposure is the insured's vicarious liability for acts or omissions of the designated contractor. (See Owners and contractors protective liability.) General supervision has usually been given a broad meaning by the courts in order to maximize the scope of OCP coverage.
