Mr. Grossfeld, co-author of "Commercial Property Management Agreements," is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP. His practice focuses on retail development and commercial leasing. Mr. Grossfeld specializes in the representation of commercial developers in connection with all aspects of shopping center development, including the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, and the drafting of development and management agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, declarations, and major tenant leases. He has extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in all types of retail, office, and industrial lease transactions. Mr. Grossfeld was admitted to the bar in 1991. He received his B.A. degree (with distinction) in 1988 from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1991. Mr. Grossfeld graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif and recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards for Legal and Equitable Remedies and Criminal Procedure. He has been a repeat lecturer/panelist on "Commercial Real Property Leases" and "Drafting and Negotiating Office Leases" for the Continuing Education of the Bar. Mr. Grossfeld is also a frequent speaker for the International Council of Shopping Centers and has published numerous articles on retail development and leasing.
