As Barclay Damon's transportation team leader, Mr. Rabinovich is a principal conduit for the firm's communications with insurers of transportation entities. Mr. Rabinovich routinely prepares opinion letters, reservation of rights or declination letters, and tort-litigation monitoring, all of which frequently lead to his filing and defense of declaratory judgment actions and appellate work. In addition, Mr. Rabinovich has litigated many of the leading cases on trucking-coverage law, including decisions on the MCS-90 endorsement, the US Department of Transportation leasing regulations, and the scope of nontrucking policies. He also handles complex coverage matters involving general liability policies and property policies issued to insureds across industries. He is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, Transportation Lawyers Association, Trucking Industry Defense Association, and DRI—Insurance Law Committee cochair.
