DALLAS—International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), is pleased to announce publication of a new book, Fundamentals of Reinsurance and Reinsurance Markets. Written for those new to reinsurance purchasing, underwriting, or sales, as well as insurance and financial executives who work with reinsurance only peripherally, this timely work provides a real-world introduction to this highly specialized field.

Steven M. McElhiney and Teresa Huddleston coauthor Fundamentals of Reinsurance and Reinsurance Markets. Mr. McElhiney’s insurance industry experience spans over 2 decades, including executive positions with major insurance and reinsurance companies as well as industry associations, giving him a multidimensional understanding of insurance and reinsurance. He is the 2011–2012 president of the CPCU Society. Ms. Huddleston, his coauthor, contributes her legal and corporate background to this practical introduction to the complex topic of reinsurance.
