Ms. Sullivan joined the CGL Reporter Editorial
Board in 2010. She handled construction, professional liability, and
bad-faith case summaries.
Ms. Sullivan is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Clyde and Co US
LLP. Over the past 20 years, she has practiced extensively in the area of
insurance, including litigating insurance disputes across multiple lines of
insurance and advising clients on coverage matters. Her current practice is
concentrated on corporate insurance matters, including claims under fidelity,
directors and officers, employment, professional, and general liability
policies.
Ms. Sullivan is a member of the TIPS Insurance Coverage Litigation Section
and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee. She is also active in the Los
Angeles County Bar Association and currently serves as president of the board
of directors of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation. Ms. Sullivan received
the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney
Achievement Award (1997), and the Barristers President's Award from the
Los Angeles County Bar Association (2001). She was named a "Southern
California Super Lawyer-Rising Star" in 2004, 2005, and again, in 2006,
by the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine and The Journal for
Law & Politics. She enjoys speaking and writing about insurance
matters, including contributing to the California Practice Guide on Insurance
Litigation.
Ms. Sullivan graduated with honors from the University of Washington's
School of International Studies, and obtained her law degree from UCLA School
of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Pacific Basin Law
Journal.
