Rose Hall contributes articles on construction quality and leadership to IRMI.com.

Ms. Hall is the strategic operations manager for risk engineering for AXL XL's North America Construction group. She has nearly 20 years of practical experience in engineering, construction, and risk management.

Ms. Hall provides strategic leadership and direction for risk engineering operations in the development and implementation of business process ecosystems, technology solutions, and enhanced customer service initiatives across multiple lines of business. Prior to AXA XL, Ms. Hall developed a holistic understanding of construction project management, which progressed to an expertise in construction risk management with Turner Construction Co., subsequent to her role in expert witnessing and litigation support with consulting firm WCD Group, now a Gallagher Bassett company.

Ms. Hall has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Rutgers University and a master of science in civil engineering, with a focus on construction engineering and management, from Stanford University. She is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina. She is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional and Claims and Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) and holds the IRMI credential of Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS). Currently, she serves as dean and a faculty member of the CLM Claims College School of Construction, the IRMI Construction Risk Conference Advisory Board, and the ClaimsXchange Advisory Board. Ms. Hall is the recipient of the 2019 CLM Professional of the Year in Claims Management and one of Insurance Business America's Elite Women of Insurance in 2017 and 2020.
