Mr. Marble was a member of the CGL Reporter
Editorial Board from 2001 through 2007. He provided summaries involving
general liability and premises coverage issues.
Mr. Marble was of counsel for Smith Rhodes Stewart & Elder, where he
practiced primarily in the areas of insurance coverage and appellate
practice. He also provided litigation support with motion practice, and
coordinated the firm's legal research and writing activities. Mr. Marble
is a 1988 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was
a member of the Oklahoma Law Review. He has authored numerous legal articles
and annotations and has led appellate briefing in reported cases on insurance
coverage. He is active in the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section of
the American Bar Association, where he served as vice chair of the Insurance
Coverage Litigation Committee. From 2001 through 2004, Mr. Marble has served
as contributing author and then principal author of "Recent Developments
in Insurance Coverage Litigation" for the committee's contribution
to the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal's annual survey of
the law.
Mr. Marble holds an A.B. from Stanford University and a Ph. D. in History
from Texas Christian University.
