Harvey Nosowitz

Mr. Nosowitz joined the CGL Reporter Editorial Board in 2010 as the articles editor, serving in that capacity until 2014. He then summarized professional liability, products liability, intellectual property, and bad faith cases into 2018.

Mr. Nosowitz is of counsel at Anderson & Kreiger LLP, where he represents clients in insurance coverage and extracontractual disputes involving general liability, professional liability, employment practices, environmental, construction defect, and other coverage areas. In addition, he represents corporations and individuals in broker liability, personal injury, and products liability cases. Mr. Nosowitz's background also includes copyright and trademark actions and other commercial litigation.

An active member of TIPS and of the Boston Bar Association, Mr. Nosowitz is a past chair of the TIPS Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Committee and of the BBA Insurance Practice Section. He has spoken and written on insurance coverage issues, including coauthoring the "Insurance Issues" chapter of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education publication, Massachusetts Environmental Law and contributing to the American Bar Association publication Reasonable Expectations: Interpreting Insurance Policies in Common Law Jurisdictions. He has written "K2 and Beyond: Can an Insurer That Breaches the Duty To Defend Contest Indemnity?" in 2014 and "CGL Coverage for Invasion of Privacy: Recent Cases and Trends" in 2011.

Mr. Nosowitz is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Bard College and holds a master's degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
