Mr. Como was on the CGL Reporter Editorial Board
from 2005 to 2008, contributing summaries in the property and construction
areas.
Currently, Mr. Como serves as a judge for the Maricopa County Superior
Court. Previously, as a partner in his Phoenix law firm, he had extensive
experience representing companies in tort and insurance litigation. His
practice focuses on representing insurance companies in coverage and bad
faith litigation, contractors in construction litigation, and manufacturers
in product liability litigation. He has first-chaired many jury trials and
arbitrations. Mr. Como has written and spoken on such topics as the
attorney-client privilege in insurance litigation, current issues impacting
insurance defense practice, and construction defect and mold claims.
Mr. Como received his bachelor of science from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania and his juris doctor from Arizona State University, College of
Law.
