Mr. Hermanson served on the CGL Reporter
Editorial Board in 2013–2016, specializing in environmental coverage, bad
faith, jurisdiction, and procedure cases.
Mr. Hermanson is an experienced litigator with a strong background in
resolving complex long tail exposures, including tort, environmental, life
science, product liability, and construction defect claims. For more than 15
years, he has advised and represented insurers in a number of important
matters, many involving very high exposures and unresolved issues of coverage
law. In addition, Mr. Hermanson regularly represents clients in other complex
litigation, including product liability, contract, and intellectual property
disputes; and in related appellate proceedings.
Mr. Hermanson graduated from Columbia Law School, serving as editor of the
Columbia Law Review, and clerked for Judge Conrad K. Cyr on the
First Circuit Court of Appeals.
