Charles (Charlie) A. Bacon, III
President, CEO
Mr. Bacon has responsibility for the overall performance and strategic direction of the business as chairman and CEO of Limbach Facility Services, LLC, a top-10 nationwide mechanical and maintenance specialty contractor. Prior to joining Limbach, Mr. Bacon was the president and CEO of the North and South American operations of Bovis Lend Lease, where he started as a superintendent in 1982. He was named president in 1996 and CEO in 1999.
Mr. Bacon is a founding member of the Incident and Injury Free CEO Forum, a group of construction executives dedicated to the goal of eliminating injuries within the industry. Mr. Bacon sits on the Executive Committee of the ACE Mentorship Program National Board and is a member of the Construction Industry Round Table. He also serves on the board of ICON USA and remains active with the Young Presidents' Organization/World Presidents' Organization.
He was one of the finalists for IRMI's Gary E. Bird Horizon Award in 2007, which is presented at the IRMI Construction Risk Conference every year.
