Brian Margolies

Mr. Margolies served on the CGL Reporter Editorial Board from 2016 to 2019, summarizing environmental, construction, and errors and omissions cases.

He is a partner at Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP, where his practice is devoted exclusively to insurance matters, primarily involving environmental, professional, and general liability policies. He regularly counsels insurers on insurance coverage, regulatory, and bad faith issues and represents clients in coverage litigation throughout the country. Mr. Margolies is the editor of the Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP Insurance Law blog. He is a frequent lecturer and is the author or coauthor of several articles, most recently "Underground Storage Tanks: A Regulatory and Insurance Overview" (Insurance Coverage Law Bulletin, August 2015).

Mr. Margolies is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Boston College School of Law.
