Background
Lee Wertz is a shareholder in the Business Litigation section of Munsch
Hardt Kopf & Harr. He is a trial lawyer with broad experience, ranging from
catastrophic personal injury cases to complex commercial litigation from
inception through jury verdict. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in all
aspects of complex and sophisticated commercial and general civil litigation
and arbitrations, focusing on the transportation, construction, oil and gas,
insurance, and waste industries. These cases involve insurance coverage, breach
of contract, fraud, indemnity, trade secrets, noncompete agreements, Deceptive
Trade Practices Consumer Protection Act and Uniform Commercial Code, as well as
defense of serious injury and wrongful death claims.
Mr. Wertz was awarded an “AV Preeminent” rating, signifying the highest

He also is a frequent speaker and author on litigation and insurance issues

construction and energy sectors in The Texas Construction Journal and Corporate
Counsel Review.
