IRMI Launches New Online Reference for Farm and Agribusiness Risk Managers and Insurance Professionals

Release Date: Sep 10, 2019

Dallas, TX—International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), recently launched Agribusiness Risk & Insurance (ARI), a comprehensive online reference for risk management and insurance professionals that provides unbiased analysis of agribusiness exposures and best practices for agribusiness risk management and insurance programs.

ARI will enable subscribers to interpret the coverage provided by standard farm forms, identify coverage gaps, compare policy forms, and stay ahead of emerging exposures. Topics covered include farm property, farm liability, farm auto, workers compensation, and umbrella policies. Quarterly updates will address additional subjects such as agritainment, crop insurance, animal mortality, winery and brewery exposures, and use of drones in farming.

“This new reference product completes our suite of offerings for the agribusiness sector, which includes the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS®) certification,  our IRMI AgriCon conferences, and the monthly IRMI AgriRisk e-newsletter,” said IRMI President and CEO Jack Gibson. “IRMI is committed to continuing development and enhancement of resources that address the unique exposures and risk management challenges faced by farms, ranches, and other agribusinesses.”

ARI can be added to an existing IRMI Online subscription or can be purchased as a stand-alone product. The content is also available to Vertafore subscribers through the ReferenceConnect platform.
