DALLAS—International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), is pleased to announce certification of the Construction Risk and Insurance SpecialistTM (CRIS) designation and continuing education program as meeting one of the educational requirements for obtaining the Certified Professional Insurance Woman/Man (CPIW/M) designation. The National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW), which administers the CPIW/M designation, reviewed the CRIS program and deemed it worthy of serving as one of the prerequisites for the designation.

The CRIS designation and CE program was developed by IRMI to make it much easier for insurance agents, brokers, CSRs, in-house risk managers or insurance buyers, and insurance company underwriters to gain specialized expertise in construction insurance and risk management. Since its launch in March 2005, more than 300 professionals have earned the CRIS designation. More details about the CRIS program are available by visiting
