Webinar-at-a-Glance

Troubling issues continue to surface regarding the impact of “green” attributes on the construction and design process even though few can disagree with the general platitudes. As a primary line of defense in managing the new risks associated with green construction, contracts must be more carefully examined and addressed. Even so, the problem of contractual options will remain unclear until there is a more robust understanding of the factors that create the risks and the actual context of green claims and assertions.

In this webinar we will address the fundamental issues related to the “meeting of the minds,” common contracting issues related to different project delivery mechanisms, and issues linked to green certification regimes. Most importantly, we couch the contractual issues within a framework that eschews green advocacy for a more objective basis of risk management.
