Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003 (AB68)

A California law requiring organizations that collect personally identifiable information from residents of California to post privacy policies on their websites. Operators of commercial websites or online services have an obligation to post privacy policies that inform California residents of what becomes of the personally identifiable information that is collected.
