group captive
A captive that has a group of non-related organizations or parents and finances
risks for each of these entities. This type of captive offers some transfer
opportunities that are outside the economic family of a particular parent. Thus,
it provides a combination of retention and risk transfer to its various parents.
This is also referred to as a multiple-parent captive.
