cross-liability endorsement
An endorsement that alters or clarifies the application of a liability policy
to cross-liability claims. Most commonly intended to mean an endorsement that
provides cross-liability coverage. However, the term should be used with caution
as the original cross-liability endorsements were exclusions that deleted this
coverage.
