comprehensive 3-D policy

Term taken from a now defunct Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), crime program. The coverage of a comprehensive 3-D policy is most closely approximated by the current ISO crime coverage Plan 1 (combination crime—separate limits). Plan 1 allows the insured to select any or all of the 11 basic ISO crime coverage forms; each coverage is subject to a separate limit of insurance.
