1 Browse to www.MSN.com. Does the page load properly and show the current date at the top/middle of the page? Yes Proceed to step 2.
No Your PC has an internet connection or configuration problem. Please correct this problem and repeat Step 1.
2 Browse to the website. Do you see the IRMI logo in the upper left corner of the browser, the Table of Contents on the left of the page, and the "Welcome to IRMI Online" message on the right side of the page? Yes Proceed to Step 13.
No Proceed to Step 3.
3 Do you see the IRMI logo in the upper left corner of the browser, but the content region is has a "Javascript Disabled" message? Yes Your PC does not meet minimum system requirements Please configure your PC to comply (enable Javascript) and repeat Step 2 or follow the instructions on the page.
No Proceed to Step 4.
4 Click the little triangle/arrow () next to any folder icon in the Table of Contents. Do the items underneath it display correctly? Yes Proceed Step 13.
No Contact Client Services for help.
5 At the bottom of the list of folders in the table of contents there is a folder named "Support". Click on this. Did the Support page load? Yes Proceed to Step 6.
No Proceed to Step 7.
6 On the Support page is a link for Browser Information. Click on this link. Does the Browser Information page load? Yes Proceed to Step 9.
No Proceed to Step 8.
7 Please open the Browser Information directly:

When you click on this link does the page load?
Yes Proceed to Step 8.
No Contact Client Services for help.
8 Does this page show any red circles with an 'X' in them? Yes Your PC does not meet minimum system requirements for IRMI Online. Please configure your PC to comply and repeat Step 2.
No Proceed to step 13.
9 In Internet Explorer, select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu. Click the button labeled "Delete Files" (or just "Delete" in IE7 & 8) to remove temporary internet files. Click on "Trusted Sites" on the "Security" tab. Is the "Default Level" button grayed out? Yes Proceed to Step 10.
No Click the "Default Level" button and Proceed to Step 10.
10 Click the "Sites" button. Do you see "http://*.irmi.com" listed in the Web sites text box? Yes Proceed to Step 11.
No Uncheck the box labeled "Require server verification". In the area labeled, "Add this web site to the zone, enter "http://*.irmi.com", click "Add" and click "OK". Then click the "Apply" button, then Proceed to Step 11.
11 Click on the "Privacy" tab in the "Internet Options" dialog box. Is the "Default Level" button grayed out? Yes Proceed to Step 12.
No Click the "Default Level" button and Proceed to Step 12.
12 Click the "Sites" button. Do you see "irmi.com" listed in the "Managed Web sites" text box? and uncheck the box labeled "Require server verification". Yes Your system should now be properly configured for use with IRMI Online. If problems persist, please Contact Client Services for help.
No In the area entitled "Address of Web site" enter "irmi.com" and click the "Allow" button. Then click OK. Then click the "Apply" button.

Your system should now be properly configured for use with IRMI Online. If problems persist, please Contact Client Services for help.
13 Click on the following link. Does the Microsoft Word display?

Yes Proceed to Step 15.
No Proceed to Step 14.
14 Do you see a prompt that with "Save" or "Open" the document? Yes Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Always ask about files of this type" and click the "Open" button. Close the browser and repeat Step 15.
No You do not appear to have Microsoft Word installed on your system. To install this free viewer, go to the Optional Components Installation Guide and install the Microsoft Word Viewer and repeat Step 13.
15 Click on the following link. Does the Adobe Reader document display?

No You do not appear to have a recent enough version of Acrobat Reader installed on your system. To install this free viewer, please go to the Optional Components Installation Guide and install the Acrobat Reader and repeat Step 15.
