George Epps

George Epps contributes articles on personal lines claims to IRMI.com.

Mr. Epps is president and owner of Epps & Associates, Inc., an independent adjusting agency. Epps & Associates, Inc., specializes in adjusting residential property claims and mobile home claims. He also has an adjuster training school, Epps Insurance Training Programs, which specializes in training beginning adjusters to do residential property claims. The school also teaches inside claims personnel how to review estimates by others.

Mr. Epps has worked in the insurance industry since 1969. He has been in sales, adjusting, and teaching. He has had his own company since 1988. He was a property instructor at Insurance Technical Training for 3 years and taught a property licensing course at Leonard's Training Programs for 10 years. He was Director of Property Training at IES for 2 years.

Mr. Epps has a BA degree from Florida State University. He is a veteran and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force.
