Sanford Warren writes on

Mr. Warren practices complex patent litigation and patent prosecution in
the biotechnology, chemical, semiconductor, and telecommunications fields. In
addition, Mr. Warren is experienced in the areas of complex patent interferences,
trademark oppositions and cancellations, and the management of worldwide trademark
programs and international software licensing. Before becoming a partner at
Warren & Kennedy, Mr. Warren was the head of the Intellectual Property Group
of Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP and served as intellectual property counsel for
American Airlines, Inc.
Mr. Warren is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Court for
the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the U.S.
Claims Court. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American and Dallas
Bar Associations, and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Mr. Warren earned his JD degree, cum laude, in 1987 from Tulane Law School.
He received his BS degree in chemistry, cum laude, in 1983 from Millsaps College.
