Mr. Tricamo is one of the presenters for Workshop M3, “Building a Better Builders Risk Program,” on Monday. Mr. Tricamo has more than 33 years of experience in the insurance industry, with 10 years in loss control engineering and 23 years in technical underwriting, management, and marketing. As product line manager, Mr. Tricamo currently oversees construction property operations for Lexington Insurance Company, the leading U.S. property- casualty insurer.

Mr. Tricamo began his career in loss control engineering, surveying risks in the construction, chemical, mining, energy, and manufacturing industries. Mr. Tricamo later joined North American Re’s (Swiss Re) Engineered Risk department as a consultant and progressed from underwriter to managing director of the Americas for engineering underwriting and environmental. Mr. Tricamo managed treaty, facultative, programs, and direct placements during his 15 years at Swiss Re. Mr. Tricamo also served as Technical and Engineering Risk Group CUO in North America and was a member of the Group Product Advisory Board for Worldwide Technical Risk & Engineering Product.

In 2003, Mr. Tricamo joined Bermuda-based start-up Quanta Holdings, leading both the Technical Risk Property Underwriting group along with the business development insurance operations.

After Quanta, Mr. Tricamo worked for a law firm as an expert witness and consultant in an arbitration involving a large mining loss along with consulting for a Bermuda reinsurance start-up.

In 2007, Mr. Tricamo joined GMAC RE, managing the Eastern region for the direct property operation involved in technical risk, construction, and commercial underwriting.

Mr. Tricamo is a graduate of St. Francis College, where he holds a bachelor of science degree, and is also a graduate of the Lubin School at Pace University, where he holds an executive master of business administration degree.
