Mr. Tolbert is one of the panelists for Workshop T3, "Construction Enterprise Risk Management," on Tuesday afternoon. He is Technical Director—Construction, Commercial Professional Services, Liberty Mutual Group, in Atlanta, GA. His current responsibilities include development of process and resources to support consulting services delivered to construction, mining, and energy customers worldwide.

He has 29 years' experience in Health and Safety consulting, including facilitation of behavioral safety and leadership processes with clients, in the United States and abroad, since 1996; service on ANSI and other national safety and health advisory committees; and service as a technical specialist in contracting, mining, and Organizational Safety Performance.

He is recipient of the First-Place Professional Paper Award from American Society of Safety Engineers' Editorial Review Board and the Council on Professional Development for "Residual Risk Reduction: Systematically Deciding What is Safe," published in the November 2005 issue of Professional Safety. He has also accomplished development of risk and process assessment, system analysis, and safety management system diagnostic methodologies for optimizing safety performance at the organizational level.

Mr. Tolbert holds a bachelor of science degree in Zoology from the University of Georgia in Athens. He is a Certified Safety Professional, a Six Sigma Green Belt, a professional member of American Society of Safety Engineers, and a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
