Bruce Thomas, CPCU, CIC, CRIS

Mr. Thomas is one of the presenters for Workshop M6, "Introduction to Contractual Risk Transfer," Monday's all-day workshop. He has over30 years' Property & Casualty Insurance experience at both an agency and company level. He holds the CPCU, CIC, and CPIA designations and the CRIS certification and has made presentations in preparation for all of those designations.

He is currently a freelance presenter, serving the Independent Insurance Agents Associations of New England and elsewhere. Mr. Thomas provides courses in such areas as Workers' Compensation and Employers Liability, Construction Risk and Insurance, ACSR, AAI, ACE Insura, Pre-Licensing, IIABA Best Practices Errors & Omissions Risk Management, Flood Insurance, Personal Umbrella, and Ethics.

Mr. Thomas is also on the faculty of the National Alliance for Insurance & Research, presenting CIC courses across the country.

As an active member of the Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators (SITE), Mr. Thomas has given workshops and seminars on “Presentation Techniques” at several SITE national conferences.

He has been a member of the Bay Colonies Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) for several years.

Mr. Thomas is a licensed producer in Rhode Island.
