David Olson

Mr. Olson is one of the presenters for Workshop W8, “Risk Management Strategies for Partnering with Disadvantaged Entities,” on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Olson is a member of Frost Brown Todd LLC and practices with the Litigation Department. He received his bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Williams College in Massachusetts in 1971 and his juris doctor degree from The Ohio State University Law School in 1978 and joined the firm immediately after graduation.

In the past 32 years, he has represented numerous clients in the construction industry, including contractors and sureties. He also handles complex commercial litigation for clients in state and federal courts, including several class actions. In addition to his construction practice, Mr. Olson has handled cases concerning antitrust violations, consumer fraud, franchise disputes, and the collapse of a self-funded workers compensation fund. Earlier in his career, he also handled rate-making cases for the telephone company before the state regulators in Ohio and Kentucky.
