Mr. Davis is one of the presenters for Workshop W11, “Contractors’
Emerging Professional Liability Exposures,” on Wednesday afternoon. He is
the product manager for Zurich's professional and pollution liability suite
of products for contractors, owners, and design professionals, including
architects, engineers, and environmental service firms. He has been with
Zurich for 7 years and oversees the development and management of Zurich's
construction-related professional liability products including the Owners
Protective Professional Indemnity, Contractors Professional Protective
Indemnity, and ZPro, including all aspects of proposition development, such
as claims and risk engineering services.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Davis was responsible for professional and
pollution liability for architects, engineers, and environmental services
firms for the Environmental Business Group, including coordination of
placements for large, multinational service firms.
Before joining Zurich, Mr. Davis worked for Kemper, building and leading
the Construction and Consulting Division of Kemper Environmental. Prior to
that, he held underwriting, product management, and risk consulting roles
for ECS.
Prior to starting his insurance career, Mr. Davis worked as a
professional geologist directing field services for a regional geotechnical
and geologic consulting firm. He holds a bachelor of arts degree (geology)
from LaSalle College and completed graduate coursework in engineering
geology at Drexel University. He is a member of the pioneer class of
Registered Professional Liability Underwriters and resides in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.
