Mr. Littleton is one of the presenters for Workshop W10, “Managing Merger
and Acquisition Risks,” on Wednesday afternoon. He joined the company in
2006 as vice president of risk management. In this role, he is responsible
for the overall design, management, and execution of risk management
programs and initiatives. Mr. Littleton began his career in 1985 with Arthur
Andersen & Co., where he was primarily involved with construction industry
clients. From there, he joined industrial contractor Montague Systems as
chief financial officer. In 1996, Mr. Littleton moved into the risk
management arena by joining Willis, where he served in various capacities,
including national subguard practice leader, CFO of the national
construction practice, and COO of the Carolinas. He further expanded his
risk management experience by serving as vice president of risk management
for Skanska. Most recently, Mr. Littleton served as construction practice
leader for Wachovia Insurance Services in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a
bachelor of science degree in business administration and accounting from
the University of South Carolina and was licensed as a CPA in South
Carolina. He has been active as a participant and speaker in numerous
industry groups, including CFMA; International Risk Management Institute,
Inc.; and AGC.
