Kenneth T. Kochevar

Mr. Kochevar is copresenting Workshop W5, "Keeping Safety at the Forefront," on Wednesday morning. He is the Vice President of Operations at Concrete Express, Inc. (CEI), a heavy highway and structural contractor in the Denver Metropolitan area, where he has served the past 10 years. Mr. Kochevar previously spent 15 years in asphalt construction at LaFarge North America, serving as Estimator and Project Manager for 10 years, producing numerous successful and award winning projects. He ultimately became Operations Manager, facilitating strategic planning and field culture change through his creative and innovative ideas. While at CEI, he has earned an ownership position and has taken the leadership role in transforming the company’s safety and organizational culture. Mr. Kochevar has experience in presenting to industry groups such as captive insurance groups, OSHA, and local CCA contractors. A native Coloradoan, Mr. Kochevar earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Construction Management from Colorado State University and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
