Kelly J. Kinzer

Ms. Kinzer is one of the presenters for Workshop T5, “Damage to the Project: Interaction of Builders Risk and CGL Policies,” on Tuesday afternoon. Ms. Kinzer has 10 years of experience in the construction insurance industry. She began her career with Zurich Construction. She spent 8 years at Zurich working as a senior construction property and inland marine underwriter.

Over the course of her career at Zurich, she held positions in Minneapolis and San Francisco. She was successful in coordinating and managing project builders risk and master builders risk programs for some of the world’s largest contractors. She also specialized in underwriting fixed property and contractors equipment. Subsequently, Ms. Kinzer joined Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in Minneapolis as an inland marine underwriting specialist. In addition to property, builders risk, and contractors equipment, Ms. Kinzer focused on motor truck cargo, warehouse legal liability, and riggers legal liability programs.

This past year, Ms. Kinzer joined Marsh in Minneapolis as a vice president. She is currently working in a client management capacity, servicing contractors and subcontractors throughout the United States.

Ms. Kinzer holds a bachelor of arts degree from St. Olaf College.
