Terry D. Gray

Mr. Gray is a panelist for Tuesday's General Session, "Double Down: Winning Strategies from Leaders in Construction Risk Management." He heads Zurich's Global Construction practice and is responsible for developing and overseeing the worldwide construction business. He provides leadership and a global strategic focus including a consistent value proposition and organizational support that positions Zurich as the recognized global leader in providing creative risk solutions for the construction industry.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Gray served as president of Zurich's U.S. Construction business, where he had the overall responsibility for leading the business, including the establishment of strategic direction, management of the four construction profit centers, and oversight of field operations. He was responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a dedicated construction team of more than 600 underwriting, risk engineering, and claims professionals. Mr. Gray was instrumental in developing and promoting Zurich's Construction specialty products and services, including its Subguard® product.

He has more than 23 years of financial and risk management experience, including 6 years in the construction industry and more than 13 years in the insurance industry.

Mr. Gray graduated from the University of Maine and is a Certified Public Accountant.
