Christopher J. Beckman, CFPS

Mr. Beckman is one of the presenters for Workshop T3, “Contractors Equipment – Protecting Vital Assets,” on Tuesday afternoon.  Mr. Beckman has been in the insurance / loss control field for more than 25 years. He currently heads up a department at Hanover that develops Hanover’ s  loss control training products and programs that are delivered by a staff of 70 field consultants across the United States.  He has worked for major insurance carriers such as Northbrook, CNA and now Hanover. He has also worked on the insurance broker side of the business as a Vice President / owner of Schiff Kreidler Shell Insurance and Risk Services in Cincinnati, OH.

Mr. Beckman has specialized in property and inland marine (construction) insurance for most of his career. He is a professional member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. Mr. Beckman is an authorized OSHA Outreach trainer for Construction and General Industry.

Mr. Beckman also served his community in the volunteer fire service for 20 years. He has been a firefighter, EMT, and a Fire Chief. Mr. Beckman worked for the State of Kentucky as a fire service instructor in haz mat, technical rescue and was an instructor trainer for the State of Kentucky.
