Mr. Allison is one of the presenters for Workshop W7, ”Impact of New FASB
Rules on Surety Credit,” on Wednesday afternoon. He is a shareholder in the
national certified public accounting practice of Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.
in Leawood, Kansas, and leader of the CBIZ MHM Midwest Construction Industry
Group. With more than 32 years of public accounting experience, Dave
provides a variety of attest, tax, and consulting services for small to
large architects/engineers/contractors (A/E/C).
Dave is a frequent speaker at national A/E/C industry conferences and for
various surety underwriting departments. Topics include accounting and audit
standards updates pertinent to the A/E/C industry, construction financial
management fundamentals, variable interest entity accounting, auditing
construction contractors, income tax minimization strategies, maximizing
bonding capacity, bidding and estimating methods, management and ownership
succession strategies, due diligence, job costing methods, allocation
methods for indirect costs, internal control systems, enterprise risk
management, and succession planning.
