About 1,100 construction risk and insurance professionals convened in the Washington, D.C., area for the 29th IRMI Construction Risk Conference held November 1-5, 2009. The Conference is the premier forum for sharing ideas and techniques for improving the ways we manage and insure construction risks. Hotel Information

In order to best handle your last-minute requests for new reservations, cancellations, or changes, please contact the Gaylord National at (301) 965-2000. A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation; however, hotel charges will not appear on your credit card until checkout.

Campbell Travel is the official travel agency of the 29th IRMI Construction Risk Conference. Campbell Travel will have representatives on-site during the Conference to help with changes or questions.

The hotel will charge a cancellation penalty of one night’s rate to your card in the event of a no-show or late cancellation. Hotel cancellations must be received by the hotel 72 hours prior to arrival date.

Registration Fee

You may attend either the full 3½-day program (includes Monday workshops), the 2½-day program (Tuesday - Thursday), or a 1-day program (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday). In addition to access to the educational sessions, registrants for the 3½-day and 2½-day program receive a Conference workbook; admission to breakfast and lunch Monday - Wednesday, as well as breakfast on Thursday; and admission to all receptions. Registrants for the 1-day program will receive handouts for educational sessions and admission to breakfast, lunch, and the evening reception (if any) on the day for which they are registered.

Discounts

If you are employed by a project owner, contractor, architectural firm, or construction engineering firm, you may qualify for a substantial discount off the regular price. Read on for details (only the largest discount will apply).

First-Time Attendee Discount

First-time attendees who are direct employees of construction, architectural, or engineering firms or construction project owners who have personally never attended before qualify for a 50 percent discount off the regular 3½-day or 2½-day Conference registration fee! CFMA Member Discount

CFMA member contractors are eligible for a 15 percent discount off the regular 3½-day or 2½-day Conference registration fee. (Sorry, associate members do not qualify for this discount.) Review complete discount details.

AGC Regular Member and Specialty Contractor Discount

AGC Regular Member Contractors and Specialty Contractors are eligible for a 15 percent discount off the regular 3½-day or 2½-day Conference registration fee. (Sorry, suppliers/service providers do not qualify for this discount.) Review complete discount details.

Rebate Plan for Multiple Registrants

Companies with five or more employees who are paid registrants as of October 26 are eligible for rebates after the Conference. Rebates will be calculated according to the table below, combined into one check (less any fees owed), and forwarded to one company representative.

Note: Cancellations should be requested by submitting the Cancellation Request Form. No form of cancellation is valid until you receive a cancellation number from IRMI.

If CE credits for attending are critical for you, please check to verify your state approval before cancellation fees go into effect on October 2. For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaint and refund, please contact our offices at 800-827-4242.

Limitation of Liability

If IRMI must cancel this Conference for any reason, liability is limited to the registration fees paid only. IRMI is not responsible for other expenses incurred, including travel and accommodation fees.
